Today, the 23rd meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is being held in the capital of Kazakhstan.
AZERTAC reports that leaders of world and traditional religious confessions are attending the meeting.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), which is a permanent member of the Congress Secretariat.
Let us recall that the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will be held in Astana on September 17-18. More than 100 delegations from approximately 60 countries around the world will discuss pressing issues at the forum.
