On December 10, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, received Abdullah Sert, Alican Tatlı, and Abdurrahman Topbaş—members of the Board of Directors of the Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Foundation of the Republic of Türkiye.
Warmly welcoming the guests, His Eminence the Sheikh-ul-Islam highly appreciated the activities of the Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Foundation, considered one of the leading non-governmental organizations of the brotherly country, in the fields of humanitarian aid and the development of religious enlightenment in Azerbaijan over many years. He expressed his gratitude to Ahmed Tecim, who served as the president of the Youth Aid Fund and collaborated fruitfully with the CMB, for his services.
Board member Abdullah Sert stated that he was honored to convey the greetings of Osman Nuri Topbaş, the head of the Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Foundation, to Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade. He expressed gratitude to the CMB Chairman for the attention and care shown toward the activities of the Youth Aid Fund.
It was noted that more than 300 hafiz (memorizers) of the Quran have been trained in Islamic colleges operating in Sheki and Zaqatala with the support of the fund, and most of them have worthily represented Azerbaijan by winning Quran recitation competitions held in various countries around the world. It was also emphasized that nearly 100 Quran hafiz have graduated from the "Shabnam" Girls' Madrasa.
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade asked the guests to convey his greetings and prayers to his dear friend Osman Nuri Topbaş. He wished success to Saleh Zeki Meliç, the newly appointed president of the Youth Aid Fund, in his work.
During the conversation, an exchange of views took place regarding the future development of relations between the CMB and the Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Foundation. The meeting concluded with a commemorative photo.
